Lovely small book, memorializing the death of Christ, in French, published in 1869, leather embossed cover, swirl decorated edges and inside cover page, this lovely antique book has a distinguished old word charm. Distressed edges, the first owners name written in French and dated November 1870 in front cover give this book a depth of history. Perfect piece to stack on a coffee table.

Edges show west to leather, few pages loos in front with listened spine at front. Owner name in ink in front.
