A wonderful set of stoneware plates by direction stoneware. Made in Japan in the 1970s. These plates are presented in a creamy glaze with teeny chocolate brown speckles throughout. Around the rim, a soft brown edge appears that frames the central floral pattern. In the center a orange poppy blooms with yellow and soft blue daisies. These are lovely piece to use today. They are perfect for entertaining and small bite.

Very nice condition there are no chips, no cracks. Very little evidence of use if any.
