Gorgeous old famille, rose, patterned ceramics, this four piece set includes a bowl, a lid, a stand for the bowl and a soup spoon. The soup spoon pattern does not match the set and is different but it was found with it so we’ve included it. The bowl, lid and stand all appear to have always gone together, the lid lift off as a place to hold a spoon that you’re using or even other condiments. The bowl rests in the stand and provides a nice drip edge as you’re eating soup. Pattern is a traditional famille, rose and pinks and greens, depicting court life around the sides. This piece has some imperfections and we’ve list of those below even with those imperfections it is stunning.
Bowl measures 4.75 inches in diameter by 2 1/2 inches tall.
Stand measures 4.75 inches in diameter 1 inches tall.
Lead measures 4 3/8 inches in diameter and one and a half inches tall
Spoon is 4.75 inches long by 1 5/8 inches wide by half an inch deep
Condition
The bowl has a few scuffs around the rim and a hairline fracture with that we can see on the inside of the bowl although it is stable. There are pictures of all of this.
The lid has several scuffs at the rim, see the photos
A stand has two scuffs at the rim with some loss of paint at the rim
The spoon has lost the paint around the edges from use and some imperfection with paint smudges that are under the glaze on the bottom. The spoon has a hallmark from Hong Kong. All other pieces are unmarked.
