Lovely Asian influenced lamp made by high end, lamp maker, Wildwood out of North Carolina. Likely made in the later part of the late 20th century. This ceramic lamp is presented on a creamy glaze that has intentional crazing throughout. A pattern of a navy blue and light blue floral with gold accents along the edges of the leaves, and the petals of the flowers. The ceramic rest upon a dark stained wood base, and the top is capped with a bronze brass cap. The lampshade is not included. However, there are many types of lampshades that would do wonderfully on this lamp. For a more formal look, you could use a silk shade either in cream or even a navy blue. The bamboo that we have used as a nice tropical flare For reference only the lampshade in the picture is 8 inches diameter at the top by 16 inches diameter at the base and 11 inches high
Lamp is in very nice condition, the ceramic has no chips, and no cracks. Minor tarnish to the cap, harp, and socket. Very minor scuffs to the base that would be appropriate to its age and use.
Powers on, standard US bulb and cord, cord is in good condition without any damage, 250 V, 250 W, power switch is on the socket and it’s a turn switch.
