Fabulous old lamp, depicting a Chinese deity, presented in a rich green vase that has geometric designs on the front and back. On the sides of the bass a bird in flight is depicted. Standing on the base is an Asian scholar draped in traditional robe. The glaze is a very pale green, with black antiquing into the folds of the ceramic. The deity holds a staff and his left hand and leaves and his right. The lamp has been recently rewired, and the cord is new, and the socket has been replaced. Ideal to move into a modern decor today bringing a level of interest.

Powers on, standard US cord and bulb. New cord, new socket. 250 W, 250 V, turn switch for power on the socket.
No damage to the ceramic. Minor crazing in the light, green glaze, some imperfections in the hand painting, and making of the ceramic from the time that it was made. Felt has been removed from the bottom, Brass support, harp, and finial show tarnish.
