Wonderful squared bowl, old English blue willow by Allerton. Presented in a crisp with a deep, dark inky royal blue presentation of the classic blue Willow pattern. This unique piece has a central pattern of the blue willow pattern that is framed by a geometric pattern at the rim. The rim gently scallops around the squared edges. On the sides of the bowl, the blue willow pattern repeats adding more detail.
10.75 inches wide by 8.25 inches deep by 2.25 inches tall.
Hallmark for Allerton on the back
No chips, no cracks. Some imperfections in the hand painting that include smudging of the blue paint, particularly on the underside of the ball. There is also some uneven application of the blue along the rim and some smudging of paint on the front.
