These are fantastic bookends, made to look like books that would have been made in the 1800s, they are heavy and have wonderful detail. Made of a heavy resin they each depict two books with faux leather spines that have gold floral detail, and a deep red title of each book. Felt as applied on the side in the bottom, the outside book even has the wavy paper that you would find an old book. Pretty pieces to add to a library shelf, or to a bookcase, adding a bit of old world charm.
