We love small ginger jars! They are the perfect pieces to layer into a bookshelf, and this tiny Japanese ceramic ginger jar does not disappoint. Presented in a deep, inky, navy blue, across the front is a pheasant and a gold metallic amongst a blooming branch of soft, petal pink blooms on green stems. The jar is topped with a flat lid that is edged in the same metallic gold.
4.25 inches tall by 3.5 inches in diameter.
Nice condition no chips, no breaks. Minor loss of the gold from handling. There is a tiny imperfection that occurred during the making of this piece where glaze did not cover the white ceramic on the side creating a small white dot that is visible. It is about the size of a pinhead.
