Fantastic historical book on Penobscot County Maine, presented with a leather spine with gold embossed Greek key, design and typography, this old book is full of history and illustrations of Penopscot County. Illustrations include historical figures and scenes of local towns and villages. Over 40 illustrations are present. This is a large book with over 900 pages and is a great gift for the lover of Maine. It looks very nice on a bookshelf or Coffee Table .

There are condition issues with this book, the cover on the front and back shows extensive wear with a cardboard coming through the canvas cover front and back. The leather shows wear down the spine. The spine is loose from the book with some pages that have come loose in the front. There is yellowing from age of pages, I did find one page that has been repaired with tape. There are some wear to the edges of pages.
