Gorgeous Antique, ginger jar, presented on a crisp, white with vivid royal blue, yellow, mauve , turquoise, and ox blood red. It depicts traditional court life with two women in traditional clothing and children flying a kite, around the top, and the base geometric patterns against turquoise accent. Round body with a flattened lead it is a lovely piece to add to a collection.
5 inches tall by 5 inches in diameter
No chips, no cracks. There is an imperfection in the yellow robe of the child that is like a bubble popped during firing removing the glaze, and revealing the ceramic, see the photo. there is paint loss of the red trim on the flattened lid, likely from handling . Some imperfections that likely occurred when the ceramic was made that include some over glazing or over painting.
