Stunning lamp by Norman Perry, this highly coveted, tall table lamp is presented as a terra-cotta ginger jar with a creamy crackle glaze background. In a rust-red color, scenes of traditional court life are depicted around the body of the lamp. The edges of the ginger jar lid, neck and base are in a darkened brown with incised scrolling design. The body of a lamp rest upon a large Asian influenced base. This is a dual socket lamp, each bulb power is on a ball chain pull. It is a wonderful example of an old world Chinoiserie vibe.
