Fabulous heavy Lidded casserole dish by Juliska, presented in a dark gray metallic glaze that mirrors, the color of black it is so dark. It has a nice hand, formed body, so the sides have a little bit of texture in the clay, the handle has a bit of a faux bamboo shape to it. Perfect peace to use today and it displays wonderfully.
This piece does not appear to ever have been used for cooking

Nice condition, there appears to be some surface dust, there was one spot on the rim, but it looks to be a little bit of a glaze loss, but not a chip into the clay. A photo has been provided. There is also a scratch on the side into the glaze a photo provided that. the inside of the lid has paint splatter. see photo
