Lovely vintage Asian carving, presents two deer, one standing, and one resting on the ground with his legs tucked under. We believe us to be soapstone, and colors of an olive and pea green, with some brown and gold veining throughout. Lovely piece to use on a bookshelf were to add to a collection.
3 inches in diameter by 4.75 inches tall.
There are minor scuffs along the edges that reveal a teeny white spot in the stone see the photos. Minor imperfections that would occur during the hand carving of this piece.
