Who does not love this pattern? Amazing set of seven plates presented in the classic and timeless cabbage leaf pattern. This listing is for seven plates.
Gorgeous, green, with hands of a turquoise green and the glaze over a white clay. There is a lot of texture in the surface depicted as the details of an open cabbage leaf with the rib down the middle. We love that the cabbage rib extends all the way to the rim of the plate, giving it is natural 3-D impact. These are handmade and are fantastic to use today.
8 5/8 inches in diameter by 1 inch deep, as the plate slightly curve upward at the rim
Overall nice condition, one plate has a chip on the underside edge rim, see the picture, another plate has a very flake to the glaze at the rim, see the picture. These plates were handmade, and there are imperfections that occur naturally during that process. We see some overglazing, some underglazing with the ceramic visible, where it was not glazed, overpainting, or uneven painting. We provided pictures of those imperfections as well.
