This lovely ceramic vintage ginger jar was made in the early 1900s. The traditional famille rose depicts court life scenes with geometric patterns painted around the body in blues and pinks. Timeless and classic. This pattern has long been used throughout China.
6.25 inches tall by 5 inches in diameter.
Hallmark on the bottom, Mark China, and red under the glaze
Very nice condition, no chips, no cracks. The piece was hand painted and there are some imperfections that occurred during the hand making. You may find uneven painting or uneven glazing.
