Wonderful 1962 signed artwork, this textured surface of acrylic paint on board depicts, a bouquet of hydrangeas and hollyhocks. The colors are stunning and vivid, with royal blue’s, royal purples, creamy white and emerald green. The background behind the flowers taps into those colors in a blended fashion. It had been framed professionally and has a wood carved frame that has been intentionally distressed. This is a nice large work of mid century art that is versatile in your decor.
28 inches tall by 16 inches wide
The back of this is labeled ‘ exhibition in Jordan marsh’. 1962 titled ’arrangement of flowers‘.
Painting is in nice condition. Frame has some scuffs to the wood that one would expect with age.
