Stunning, antique Chinese lamp, presenting a Chinese elder, or scholar. The scholar stands upon a tiered brass stand that has Asian influence in its shape. The elder wears a pale yellow robe that has been hand painted with tiny geometric pattern. He holds in his left hand, a staff, and any other hand a golden painted fruit. This is a wonderful old piece.

30 inches tall to the top of the finial screw
23 inches tall to the top of the socket by 9 inches deep by 11 1/2 inches wide

Ceramic is a nice condition, no chips, no cracks. There is some minor loss of gold paint along the edges and to some of the red paint.
