Charming, small planter, presented as a basket with a zebra along the side. This ceramic planter was made in occupied Japan in the mid century, and has wonderful character with the zebra looking almost like a baby zebra. The planter portion is small and would fit a miniature plant that would be approximately 2 inches 2 1/2 inches in diameter. Lovely piece to add to a nursery or for a bit of whimsy on the bookshelf.

Nice condition, no cracks, no chips. Evidence that this has been used as a Planter before with a little bit of staining on the inside of the planter.
