Otagiri is always one of our favorites. This delightful teapot and set of six tea cups presents itself in a crisp, white on the inside with the outside painted in a deep, indigo, blue, and brown. A silhouette of a white flower appears in the center of each side of the teapot. The teapot has a Bentwood handle that is wrapped in a thin slice of rattan and wicker. Lovely pieces to collect or to use today.

Overall nice condition, the inside is discolored from previous use, see the photo. There is plastic that is covering the tip of the spout that shows some discoloration and cracking. This piece of plastic can be removed. It has been there for protection. We have noticed that one wrap of rattan around the teapot handle is missing.
