Vintage 1940s Ceramic Lady Lamp
Stunning 1940s lamp, presented with a fancy porcelain lady wearing a taffeta satin tiered skirt! Gloved arms raised to her head, she is wearing an strapless evening gown. The bodice is cream with metallic gold trim and scrolling designs across her chest. The cream fabric skirt is over a stiff slip that keeps if poofed! She has gorgeous pink hair with accents of gold, blue eyes and ruby red lips. There is a light socket that sits above her head, and one under her skirt! This is the penultimate design of 1940-1050s ceramic lamps!
Measurement and Condition
Both sockets power on. Both are power through same cord. The ceramic lady is ceramic through her torso. The torso is affixed to a metal wire cage, and the skirting material rests upon the wire cage. Top socket indicates a wattage of 250W, I didn't find notation on the socket under the skirt.
Very nice condition, no breaks, no chips to ceramic. Skirting material shows some surface dust. Brass support rod has some oxidation. White cord has surface dust.
