Substantial Blue and White Asian Floral Chinoiserie Vase
Fabulous deep, rich navy blue underglaze vase, with a unique shape, this piece brings such an element to a room! Round in shape from front, the sides have been pinched, creating a unique shape! Tall, and substantial (12" tall and weighing 8 pounds 9 ounces), this wonderful piece has the scale to add tall blooms. A white scrolling floral design is set against the deep ink blue, two small decorative handles appear on each side. The pattern down the sides are egg shaped blue against white, adding another dimension to this piece. It would be lovely with other blue and white Asian, or simply alone on a mantel or bookcase! Equally as lovely as a centerpiece on a large table for a wedding or bridal shower!
Measurement and Condition
12" tall x 12" wide x 4" deep
Glossy glaze, very nice condition. No chips, no cracks. Some mottling or smudging of paint when it was hand painted. Felt applied to bottom. Marked under the glaze on bottom Made in China in blue. Interior glazed as well.
