Stunning old Japanese bowl, presented on a soft white glaze, the piece sits elevated on a slight round pedestal bottom. Rectangular in shape, the sides are slightly crimped in middle giving edges a slight V appeal. In the center of the piece, a crane wades. Around the edges of piece, a deep inky blue geometric alternates with an oxblood red panel. Lovely to add to a collection , it is a pretty piece to serve small sides (think asparagus or green beans) - it pairs well with classic patterns such as blue willow. We also think this piece can have a life away from the dining table and be a pretty catchall for rings and jewelry.
